Baby girl A and big brother! Rhode Island and Massachusetts on location newborn portrait photographer creates in home newborn portraits in Boston Ma

I haven't traveled to a home for newborn portraits in some time and it was so refreshing to get out of the studio and visit this family last week! They had a beautiful nursery with fabulous light, so we set up the whole session right there. Big brother L was so helpful and I just melt over the shots of him and his baby sister. Normally I supply the props, but mom was one step ahead of me and had so many adorable hats and pettiskirts for me to play with when I arrived! It was so much fun to meet you all, enjoy your preview!

Cape Cod on location newborn portraits. Rhode island newborn portrait photographer.

I am so excited to share this preview. Fall is my favorite time of year. The weather is perfect (especially for those of us with unruly hair), football is back, you can find pumpkin flavored anything on store shelves, my birthday is in October, and most importantly... there is color everywhere! Everything is more beautiful in autumn's light. Yesterday I had a wonderful time photographing this sweet family in Cape Cod. Mom loved hats so I got to try almost every one out on this little peanut! The end of the session was my favorite as we headed outside to take some photographs in their backyard. The colors were beautiful and it was still warm enough for baby to keep from getting chilly. I can't wait for what the next few months will bring. Enjoy your preview mom and dad!

One very sleepy boy! Ma and RI newborn baby portrait photographer.

Here is newborn number two from last week, baby M. He was one of my best newborns to date. He let us curl him up in all sorts of fun places from daddy's police hat, to a basket in the living room, to a giant shell that grandma requested. Here are just a few of the adorable portraits we ended up with. Even with all of the cute props we were able to play with, my very favorite shots are the last two with mom and dad. Obviously a gorgeous family, it was easy for my camera to love them, but it was how much they loved baby M that makes those last few so special. Enjoy your preview :0)
