Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing THREE two year olds. Yep, you read that right. Twin toddlers and their cousin gave me a fabulous work out. I was just saying in Saturday's post how I feel the hardest age to photograph is 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 years old. The biggest challenge is to just catch them with in the frame of the camera before they move again! And that is with one. Trying to catch three? I was excited for the challenge and came armed with stickers, balloons, and M&M's (because I'm not above bribery). We also headed outdoors for a few photos because the light was so nice, but it was a frigid 20 degrees so we didn't last too long. Mom just wanted one picture of the three of them and I am happy to report, we got one (we got a few actually)! I also had to include a few out takes in the preview today because I was laughing the entire time I was editing these. Can't wait to show you the rest!

My second maternity shoot last week was on location. Mom is pregnant with TWINS and on bed rest so I brought my studio to her. Twins! Doesn't she look fabulous?! This shoot was a surprise for dad so hopefully he doesn't frequent my blog :0) She's going to show him the slideshow on Christmas morning.... awwww! I can't wait to hear about his reaction. Twice the fun! Rhode Island on location photographer creates Massachusetts twin newborn portraits.

Wow! I don't know how parents of multiples do it. After just three hours I was pooped. And most of my stuff was too :0) Getting one baby sleepy and curled up in front of my camera can often be a challenge, but two at the same time? With out poking each other in the face?! It is double the work and double the laundry for sure, but the reward is that twins are always absolutely positively more adorable than you could even imagine. This family was so much fun to meet and work with. Baby boy twin looked exactly like his handsome older brother. Baby girl, I think, looked just like her mommy. Mom was a baby whisperer herself and did an amazing job helping me juggle both babies. Dad had the patience of a saint! I think we got some adorable shots mom and dad. Enjoy your preview!
