Here is baby girl number two from yesterday in the studio and yet another gorgeous set of baby blue eyes to fall in love with! Baby J was so much fun to play with and reminded me so much of my own daughter. She was so interested in all of the action (as mom, dad, and I all sang and danced like crazy to get her attention!) I always wonder what babies must be thinking of me as I make silly noises and crazy faces to try to get a smile out of them. Are they laughing with me, or at me??? This sweet baby girl visited my studio yesterday and I'm excited to show mom that we did get some shots after all! The poor thing must have had a tooth about to pop through because the bib of every dress was soaked and she seemed so uncomfortable. Mom had brought so many fun outfits and holiday props, but poor baby C just seemed like she wanted her crib :0( That's the way life goes with a baby right?! I remember taking my daughters Easter photos 2 Easters ago and ending up with a whole folder full of portraits with her crying in her bunny ears. Drool, runny nose, red eyes... nothing a little photoshop can't fix! Well mom, we did manage some adorable shots, so all of our hard work paid off! Enjoy your preview.

I can't wait to show you all these portraits this morning. This little girl is sure to get a few people itching to have a baby! She was a perfect little model. Beautiful skin, delicate little features, perfect proportions, and she posed for us in just about every set we could dream up! Mom, dad, and grandma were all so much fun to have in the studio as well. I felt like I had known them all forever as we spent the afternoon playing with baby E. The studio is officially open, although I'm still waiting on my sign, I had my very first "official" shoot there Sunday morning. You may remember this little girl's parents from this preview, and her newborn photos from this shoot. She was the very first baby who we could get propped up on her hands thanks to dads help! I've loved watching this family grow and I am so excited to share this preview with you all. Doesn't she get cuter by the day?? This month is full of Holiday shoots so unfortunately I have to scale back my previews a bit to get everyone in. Its a real shame because I want to show you this ENTIRE session. You might remember this sweet little girl from April of this year. I have many favorite things about my job, but one of the things I love most is getting to see families as they grow and change over time. First meeting couples, then welcoming their tiny newborns, then watching babies grow and change. I really enjoyed being able to see this family again and meet some of their other family members. It was a dark day but the rain held off and I think we got some amazing shots! Enjoy your preview, I can't wait to show you the rest!

Two back-to-back sessions today. Normally I would come home and flop onto my couch exhausted as soon as G was put to bed, but today I was completely thrilled to start editing my images. Here is the preview from my morning session. I really have to thank mom and dad for these photos. Mom chose the spot, which was a photographer's dream, and then dressed the entire family in the perfect example of coordinating outfits without looking like a uniform. Dad put up with the unbearable heat and barefoot walk over crushed stone while keeping both kids smiling and happy for me. I am thrilled with these photos and I hope you all are too. A few more details about The 2009 Holiday Family Portrait Schedule!

The October 4th Holiday family portrait sessions will be held in Central Massachusetts at Tufts Veterinary Campus in Grafton Massachusetts.

The October 11th Holiday family portrait sessions will be held in Rhode Island at Rodger Williams Park. It is so beautiful in the fall!

The October 25th Holiday family portrait sessions will be held in the Boston area at a location to be determined. I welcome any suggestions!

Session appointment times will be 9am, 10:30am, 12pm, 1:30pm, 3pm, and 4:30pm on each date.

The 2009 Family Holiday Portrait Session is $200 and includes:

• A 1 hour premium portrait session at a scheduled outdoor location (to be determined) for up to 5 family members. Additional family members may be included for $25 per person.
• Post-session custom image preparation with attention to each image
• A sneak preview 1-3 days after your session with a selection of Heidi’s favorite images
• A password protected online gallery of 10-15 images to share with family and friends
• Watermarked image sharing on social networking sites such as facebook at your request.
• Your choice of 2 of the following Holiday package options:

1. A complimentary Holiday Card design and 25 5x7" photo finish holiday cards ($40 value). Additional cards and finishing options available.
   
2. A $25 print credit
   
3. One high resolution digital file of your favorite portrait for your own printing and sharing ($75 value).
