Local flooding of the Pawtuxet river in Warwick Rhode Island.

I grew up eating globs of cookie dough from Dear Hearts while throwing stones off of the bridge and into the Pawtuxet River. We have had some impressive weather lately, and when I heard that the Pawtuxet was reaching record flood stages, I had to grab my camera and catch some of history being made. The first photos are from Pawtuxet Village (right near our rehearsal dinner spot!), where the Pawtuxet meets Narragansett Bay. The second are from a spot on Elmwood ave where the bridge is closed. Pardon my shaky hands. Pouring rain, slow shutter speed, plus holding an umbrella with one hand, does not for good pictures make!

Baby J 6 month old baby portrait session. Rhode Island and Massachusetts baby photographer creates 6 month baby portraits in Warwick RI studio

Remember this little doll face?  I last visited this family back in July when baby J was only a few weeks old.  Today the family came to see me for J's 6 month session.  Where does the time go?!  We had so much fun today and I think we got some great shots.  How could we not?  She is seriously cute!  Enjoy your preview and Happy 2010 everyone!  See you in the new year.  4 newborns in the first week!

6 month old holiday baby portraits. Rhode Island baby photographer creates studio baby portraits.

The studio is officially open, although I'm still waiting on my sign, I had my very first "official" shoot there Sunday morning. You may remember this little girl's parents from this preview, and her newborn photos from this shoot. She was the very first baby who we could get propped up on her hands thanks to dads help! I've loved watching this family grow and I am so excited to share this preview with you all. Doesn't she get cuter by the day?? This month is full of Holiday shoots so unfortunately I have to scale back my previews a bit to get everyone in. Its a real shame because I want to show you this ENTIRE session. The pictures are all are that adorable! Enjoy your preview mom and dad. Can't wait to show you the rest.
