I am so thrilled to share this preview with you. This gorgeous couple is very dear to me, and inside that beautiful belly is my soon-to-be-born niece! With less than a month to go, I figured I better get going on this preview and gallery. Mom and dad-to-be have been patiently waiting for it to go up. That's what happens when you are family... I know you'll still love me even if I'm horribly late posting your preview! This couple wasn't crazy about the standard maternity portraiture so I got to have lots of fun trying out new stuff. Happy 2010 everyone! I have a really good feeling about this year and it started off wonderfully with the couple who came to the studio yesterday. After a few days off around the holidays, I'm feeling refreshed with new ideas and lots of inspiration. This couple was so fun to work with. They were up for anything and kept me laughing. They didn't mind being crammed up near the windows on a dark and snowy day... or driving down an hour from Boston to get there! I think we got some amazing shots and I absolutely can't wait to meet this sweet baby... due in 3 weeks! I'm off to the studio to meet my first newborn of the year, with many more to come this week. The sun is shining and I can't wait to get outside, but I had a bit of work to do first! Here is the preview from a very fun couple I visited on Friday. They were so easy going and up for anything. I absolutely can't wait to come back and photograph their new baby. They are Belly to Birthday clients which is such a joy for me. I get to come back and see the new baby and then watch him grow over the next year. I truly have the best job in the world. Enjoy your preview mom and dad!

Massachusetts Maternity Portrait Photographer- Connacht and John's Maternity Session

Yesterday was the Maternity Session for Connacht and John. Let me just say that I could have torn the two straight out of a JCrew catalog. That baby is going to have the most amazing blue eyes. Connacht and John were so laid back that I didn't even feel like I was on the job. I think I laughed through the entire shoot. From trying to get the dogs to stay on the bed (I think we managed a decent shot!), to John's "manakin face," my face hurt from smiling at the end of the day. I hope they had as much fun as I did. I absolutely can't wait for the baby to arrive so I can come and visit with my camera again. Here is a sneak preview... enjoy!
