I am so thrilled to share this preview with you. This gorgeous couple is very dear to me, and inside that beautiful belly is my soon-to-be-born niece! With less than a month to go, I figured I better get going on this preview and gallery. Mom and dad-to-be have been patiently waiting for it to go up. That's what happens when you are family... I know you'll still love me even if I'm horribly late posting your preview! This couple wasn't crazy about the standard maternity portraiture so I got to have lots of fun trying out new stuff. Happy 2010 everyone! I have a really good feeling about this year and it started off wonderfully with the couple who came to the studio yesterday. After a few days off around the holidays, I'm feeling refreshed with new ideas and lots of inspiration. This couple was so fun to work with. They were up for anything and kept me laughing. They didn't mind being crammed up near the windows on a dark and snowy day... or driving down an hour from Boston to get there! I think we got some amazing shots and I absolutely can't wait to meet this sweet baby... due in 3 weeks! I'm off to the studio to meet my first newborn of the year, with many more to come this week. I had the pleasure of doing two maternity shoots last week, both of whom I will have the pleasure of doing a newborn shoot for as well. I love meeting a couple and then getting to photograph them again as a family. It is such a magical time! This couple was so laid back and fun. They came down to the studio and we had fun playing with a few different set ups. Mom and dad were both sports fans, and ok, I might have been a little biased when setting up their sports shots :0) At least we all found some common ground with the red sox. Here is a preview from a couple who had their autumn outdoor session a few weeks ago. This morning they met me at the studio for a few studio shots. Once again they were lots of fun! I can't wait to meet this baby :0) The last picture I'm playing with a little texture for a vintage look. I was so excited to have someone due so close to Christmas so I could finally use that idea! This is going to be one big gallery!

The sun is shining and I can't wait to get outside, but I had a bit of work to do first! Here is the preview from a very fun couple I visited on Friday. They were so easy going and up for anything. I absolutely can't wait to come back and photograph their new baby. They are Belly to Birthday clients which is such a joy for me. With another teeny newborn to capture tomorrow, I thought I had better get this sneak preview up! This couple were high school sweethearts and have been married for 10 years. They went to college and served in the military together.... and now they are about to make their family bigger by one :0) It was easy to see they were best friends. Massachusetts Maternity Portrait Photographer, Maternity Session Jolene

Note to self: do not drink coffee on the morning of a shoot. I had far too much adrenaline pumping through my system to add caffeine to the mix. I guess I can say Photography is a drug. Today I had the maternity session for my good friend Jolene. I was so excited for it that come rain, or 6 inches of snow, I was braving it, and dragging poor Giuliana along with me. I’m a New Englander after all. At least now I feel that at least my Jeep payments are worth it this month. Jolene made my job easy. As you will see below, she is a fabulous model. And Jared was such a good sport. You can tell he loves his two girls! I hope they had as much fun as I did. Here is a sneak preview.... it was really hard for me to only pick a few!
