These two cuties came to visit the studio this weekend and I had so much fun with mom and dad trying to get both of their attention at the same time! They had such distinctly different personalities, it was fun to watch. We got lots of adorable individual shots as well as some portraits together that are so sweet. Twins are definitely double the cuteness!

This weekend was lots of fun as I got to spend my Saturday with four sweet babies at the studio. You may remember this adorable baby girl from her newborn session here. This time the family came down to RI to visit me at the studio and I was so thrilled to see them all again. O is still a little doll baby like the weeks after she was born. Big blue eyes and lots of smiles. I know I say it all of the time, but I just love 6 month olds! Enjoy your preview mom and dad!

I was so excited to share this preview with you. Twin girls E and S were so much fun to work with yesterday. They were so easy, I didn't even need my assistant! Mom and dad got little sleep the night before, but I bet they'll think it was worth it once they see their sleepy sweethearts in these photos. The garden was pink this week which was perfect for them. The one of them in the basket might be one of my favorite pictures of all time! Enjoy your preview mom and dad. Lots of cuteness to come!

The garden is in full bloom! This week it is pink tulips and pussy willows. What am I doing with all of these flowers you ask? Well, lets just say that next spring, my home will be overtaken by tulips. This little girl was a fiesty one. Only 8 days old, but born 5 days late, this little peanut gave me a run for my money. She only slept for two minute intervals and I don't believe I've ever witnessed a newborn eat more at a session! Luckily, she slept long enough for me to catch some adorable shots. I've gotten good at working fast with the not-so-sleepy bunch. That is when the studio comes in handy because everything is right at our fingertips when baby finally decides to doze. Wow, I am way behind in blogging. I had so many adorable babies come visit the studio this week that my hands have been quite full. But every baby was oh-so-good to me and this girl kicked it all off. She was stunning, as you can see, and my camera adored her. We were fast friends. She actually reminded me a lot of my daughter G! This week was full of older babies in the studio and I just had a ball photographing all of them. I have so many new favorites.... I'm pretty sure my website will be completely overhauled by the time this month is out! Baby boy C kicked things off and he was as sweet as he was handsome. Amazing eyes and lashes, my camera just ate him up. Mom was totally laid back and fun to shoot with, so it must have rubbed off on C! Thanks for the fun session and enjoy your preview!

I can't wait to share this preview with you tonight. As if Christmas time weren't magical enough, I am blessed to spend the week leading up to it with a few sweet newborns. Baby S and her parents traveled a long way to the studio today and we had so much fun capturing S's first days of life. She was 10 days old today... a perfect age for newborn portraits. 5-10 days of life is the ideal time to create portraits as baby's are still very sleepy and haven't yet hit their two week growth spurt. Baby S was an absolute dream. Amazing skin, a gorgeous little face (I was seriously tempted to smooch), and she loved to be curled up into the most adorable poses. I've been waiting to try out some new family poses and everyone happily indulged me today. Dad gets the award for what he went through! Thanks so much for coming to play today. Here is the full preview of the sweet little girl who appeared just before Thanksgiving. During our session I kept telling her parents how this baby girl has a little doll face. Don't you agree? Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Baby R and her parents. The shoot flew by as all three of them were such a joy to work with! Baby R had such a sweet demeanor. I kept asking mom and dad, "Is she always like this?!" She was full of smiles and loved to sing and play. Her big brown eyes (with the most amazing lashes by the way) completely stole my heart. My week ended on a fun note when I was able to meet this little birthday boy and his family! I arrived on an extremely hot and very humid Friday morning with a beautiful birthday cake and lots of energy. S, like most 1 year olds, took a few minutes to warm up to the camera but was crawling around and playing in no time. He even held up in the extreme heat and after all his hard work I captured him splashing around in his kiddie pool. The only thing we didn't get was a great smashing of the beautiful cake. Tiffany, my cake designer, will be happy to know that it survived in one piece. S wanted no part of smashing it! He did find his bib delicious though as you will see below.
