Baby A's first birthday cake smash. Rhode Island and Massachusetts photographer creates one year old baby portraits at baby portrait studio
I have had the pleasure of photographing this adorable baby girl since she was in her mommy's belly over a year ago! I can't believe how fast she's grown and I loved capturing her first birthday portraits. We got some adorable traditional stuff, but these fun ones really make me smile!

I've been a fan of work via flickr for a long while now but just wanted to tell how you great you really are! Keep up the fantastic work!! One question, I just signed a lease on studio space that has dark wood floors & white walls....how do you get all of the pretty colored backgrounds on your images? Is that seamless paper?
ReplyDeleteThank you Jana! Yes, I use Savage background papers that I order from BH. They are especially great for cake smashes because you can rip off the part covered in cake and toss it!
ReplyDeleteHeidi, I couldn't have dreamed them to be better. I know I'm her mom, but these pictures are seriously the cutest. We are going to have these memories forever thanks to you.
ReplyDeleteHeidi, thanks so much for sharing these images AND your tips about the background papers. When viewing these images I was thinking that you must have such a time cleaning all that up! Well worth it of course, but good to know you can just trash the paper:)))
ReplyDeleteThese images are just SO sweet. What a beautiful child. You've captured her so well!!
Thanks for letting me know, Heidi. I truly appreciate it! I'm thinking paper is the way to go too, I love the way it looks too.
ReplyDeleteAdorable, Conn! Love how dainty AG is with her cake. Heidi -- amazing photos!
