The sun is shining and I can't wait to get outside, but I had a bit of work to do first! Here is the preview from a very fun couple I visited on Friday. They were so easy going and up for anything. I absolutely can't wait to come back and photograph their new baby. They are Belly to Birthday clients which is such a joy for me. I get to come back and see the new baby and then watch him grow over the next year. I truly have the best job in the world. Enjoy your preview mom and dad!

Today was my very first twin session and these two sweet girls (along with their adorable 18 month old sister) completely stole my heart. I was scheduled to do mom's maternity session a few weeks ago and she actually went into labor the morning I was supposed to head to their house! So I came back to capture these two cuties this week. I must say that two newborns is certainly twice as hard. Perhaps three times as hard! And throw a toddler in the mix? WOW! Thank goodness I had my fabulous assistant with me :0) Thanks for coming along K. But it is all worth it because the portraits are absolutely four times as adorable. I hope you love them mom and dad. Here is preview number two from yesterday's sessions. This baby boy had two front teeth about to break through, but was still as sweet as pie. His big brown eyes sucked me right in. His parents were so completely adoring and loved helping me get some smiles out of a little boy who just wanted to chew chew chew! You'll see this adorable face again in three months as his parents are baby's first year clients. Enjoy your preview mom and dad!

Two back-to-back sessions today. Normally I would come home and flop onto my couch exhausted as soon as G was put to bed, but today I was completely thrilled to start editing my images. Here is the preview from my morning session. I really have to thank mom and dad for these photos. Mom chose the spot, which was a photographer's dream, and then dressed the entire family in the perfect example of coordinating outfits without looking like a uniform. Dad put up with the unbearable heat and barefoot walk over crushed stone while keeping both kids smiling and happy for me. I am thrilled with these photos and I hope you all are too. This adorable little man was my second session yesterday and he was an absolute joy to photograph.  I was nervous when I arrived because he was a bit weary of me.  1-2 year olds tend to run away from the camera because they are at an age when stranger anxiety is at it's height.   That is when on-location photography is worth its weight in gold.  A one year old who might normally be crying as you try to bribe them to sit in front of the camera at a studio can instead run around and play while I quietly chase them around capturing those real smiles on camera.  After a little play time at home, D warmed right up to me and we became fast friends!  D was on the move so much that our session was literally "on the run."  I had so much fun singing and running around with D, and even chatting with mom.  Enjoy your preview!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing two little cuties that were so sweet I wanted to take them BOTH home with me! This little 3 month old baby girl was my first session of the day. She was such a content baby and her big blue eyes looked straight into your soul. She woke up from her morning nap very happy and gladly obliged us in front of the camera for the next two hours. We started at home and then took a short walk to nearby Jamaica Pond. Her parents have chosen the Baby's First Year package, so you and I will be lucky enough to see this adorable face a few more times this year! Enjoy.

Today I had the pleasure of going back to visit a little man you may remember from 6 months ago.  I had a lot of fun chasing him and his cousins around to capture these shots.  It was one hot day, but everyone lasted... including all of my helpers (thanks ladies!  are you available for all of my shoots?)  There were so many that I had trouble choosing which ones for the preview.  This is going to be one large gallery!  Enjoy.  Don't forget you can click each image to view it a little larger.
