Ok, here it is finally! This little sweetheart was an absolute angel to photograph. Definitely one of my easiest newborns to date. Baby B did have a little fiest in her though. She was a jumper and we had to keep a hand close by so that she didn't hop right off the beanbag! She was a tiny little thing and slept for almost all of the shoot. Mom and dad said that she was up most of the night, and while I always feel bad for the parents, I am secretly happy when I hear that because I know we may have better luck with those sleepy newborn shots everyone adores! Mom and dad looked no worse for the wear anyways. This was one gorgeous family. Baby B even gave us some sweet sleepy smiles. My favorite shot is the one where mom, dad, and baby B are all smiling together. Enjoy your preview :0)

I have two previews that are sure to make you smile on this cold and rainy morning. Yesterday I traveled to the Boston area for two wonderful shoots. The first session was in the south shore where I had the pleasure of playing with this sweet boy and his mommy for a few hours. This little boy has some of the most fantastic blue eyes I've ever photographed! He was already on the move, starting to crawl and sitting up on his own. He was very interested in the camera. Just when we had him smiling and laughing, I would pick my camera up and he would stop everything and stare right into it! I did manage to sneak some smiles in though mom. I think we ended up with some adorable shots! Enjoy your preview.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Baby R and her parents. The shoot flew by as all three of them were such a joy to work with! Baby R had such a sweet demeanor. I kept asking mom and dad, "Is she always like this?!" She was full of smiles and loved to sing and play. Her big brown eyes (with the most amazing lashes by the way) completely stole my heart. My week ended on a fun note when I was able to meet this little birthday boy and his family! I arrived on an extremely hot and very humid Friday morning with a beautiful birthday cake and lots of energy. S, like most 1 year olds, took a few minutes to warm up to the camera but was crawling around and playing in no time. He even held up in the extreme heat and after all his hard work I captured him splashing around in his kiddie pool. The only thing we didn't get was a great smashing of the beautiful cake. Tiffany, my cake designer, will be happy to know that it survived in one piece. S wanted no part of smashing it! He did find his bib delicious though as you will see below. Either way, we ended up with some adorable portraits! Enjoy your preview mom and dad.

I just love photographing people who are in love.  And static subjects?  Subjects who not only stay in one spot, but can also heed instructions?!?!  Last night's engagement shoot was so much fun.  As you all know, I am totally baby crazy, but once in a while it is so refreshing to shoot adults.  It allows me to be so much more creative with my images.  It brings me back to my fine art roots as I feel like I am composing (or at least have time to compose) a painting of sorts.  I suppose that is what I would most like my photographs to be; paintings created with light.  This is one huge preview and sure to be one huge gallery.  Thanks for being so fun to work with... enjoy your preview!

I'm about to run out the door for a sunset engagement shoot on the beach, but I had to post this preview of yesterday's cutie pies! I had a lot of fun photographing this brother and sister. I have to keep up with my posts this week so I just had to crank this one out tonight before bed.  Two more weeks of craziness and then everyone is back in school and things finally slow down so that I can breathe again!  I had so much fun doing this shoot today.  It was an hour of 90 degree running around that truly flew by.  I had scheduled this shoot for last May and after having to cancel it, we just finally were able to get everyone together for it again.  The adorable pettiskirts are from Miss Things Boutique who partnered with me for these shots!  I also had to get some portraits of the boys because, how cute is this family?!  Thanks moms for all your help and hard work.  Loved seeing you all again.  Enjoy your preview :0) There are SO many more to come!
