Another preview I am just dying to share with you. This sweet newborn was a tiny little girl. A big difference from Monday's 9 1/2 pounder, this baby girl was less than 7 pounds when I photographed her today. She was so good in front of the camera. You may remember mom and dad from their maternity portraits a few short weeks ago. Well baby girl G was just as photogenic as her mommy. I have so many new favorites I can't even count. I admittedly went a little wild shopping before todays shoot. I was feeling festive (as you can see below!) and wanted to give my photos a fresh feel for the fall. Lots more fun to be had this season so keep your eye on the blog for all of the cuteness. Enjoy your preview mom and dad. Thanks for choosing me to capture this special time in your lives!

Cape Cod on location newborn portraits. Rhode island newborn portrait photographer.
I am so excited to share this preview. Fall is my favorite time of year. The weather is perfect (especially for those of us with unruly hair), football is back, you can find pumpkin flavored anything on store shelves, my birthday is in October, and most importantly... there is color everywhere! Everything is more beautiful in autumn's light. Yesterday I had a wonderful time photographing this sweet family in Cape Cod. Mom loved hats so I got to try almost every one out on this little peanut! The end of the session was my favorite as we headed outside to take some photographs in their backyard. The colors were beautiful and it was still warm enough for baby to keep from getting chilly. I can't wait for what the next few months will bring. Enjoy your preview mom and dad!

On location newborn portraits. Rhode Island photographer creates in home newborn portraits in Massachusetts.
Here is preview number 2 for today. This little newborn melted my heart. She was already 3 weeks old which can sometimes make for a tough shoot. Babies are generally more alert, less flexible, and wake more easily after the 2 week point. But baby G was a complete dream! We started with some awake portraits because she was very alert at the beginning of the shoot. After some feeding and changing, G went right to sleep on my bean bag and was putty in my hands! She even gave me some sweet newborn smiles as she was drifting off to sleep. Enjoy your preview mom and dad. Can't wait to show you the rest!
On location 4 month old baby portrait. Rhode Island baby photographer creates baby portraits in Grafton Ma.
Here is your first preview of the day. This little man was absolutely adorable! I generally find that 1-4 months is the hardest baby age to shoot. There isn't a big variety in how you can pose them and they have a very limited attention span in front of the camera. Not this guy! This little 4 month old was such a trooper! We got some great big smiles and captured his beautiful blue eyes. Mom and dad were fabulous assistants! Enjoy your preview. Another squishy newborn is up next :0)

Horseneck beach maternity portraits. Rhode Island pregnancy photographer creates pregnancy portraits on location in Massachusetts. Beach photography
I am so excited to post this preview today. I just love these portraits! This couple was so much fun to meet and work with. We traveled to Horseneck beach in Massachusetts for their maternity portraits yesterday. We just had to get in one last beach shoot before summer is officially over in New England! Normally shooting on a beach in mid day sun (with not a cloud in the sky) can be some tough light to work with so I was very pleased to get home and see how fantastic these came out! I really love playing with light and I'm starting to get the hang of shooting straight into the sun for some cool flare effects. I have so many new favorites from this session. I hope you love your preview K and J. I can't wait to meet this baby in a few months!

Baby girl 6 month old portraits. Hingham on location baby pictures. Rhode Island and Massachusetts baby photographer
I had two great shoots today so I couldn't help but edit while watching some football. Sadly the Patriots didn't win, but thankfully this little girl made me smile nonetheless. You may remember her parents who were some of my first maternity clients. You may also remember these adorable newborn portraits. Well that adorable newborn grew into one gorgeous 6 month old who is just as sweet as she is beautiful. Bet you didn't think I would get this preview up so soon mom and dad! Enjoy!

Massachusetts newborn portrait preview. Needham heights newborn portraits. Rhode island newborn photographer.
Wow, it has been a busy week of work! Here is your long awaited newborn preview. I can't believe it has been almost 2 weeks since my last newborn post! Don't worry, I will have another adorable newbie for you in just a few days. This little girl was so sweet and squishy! She was nice and sleepy after being topped off with a bottle of mama's milk. Great idea mom. She let us play quite a bit, until I touched her hands that is. She did NOT like me messing with those hands. You'll notice they are in the same position in almost every shot. This girl would kick my butt in arm wrestling. She was seriously way stronger than me! We didn't go too wild with props for grampa's sake, but we did try out a few headbands that mom had on hand. Baby S modeled them like a pro. Mom and dad received a Heidi Hope Photography gift certificate at their baby shower, so I hope their gift giver enjoys previewing these portraits as well!
